Dr. Neeraj Adkar is a consulting
Orthopaedic Surgeon, specializing in Knee Arthroscopy
and Total Knee Replacement at Pune. He obtained his postgraduate degree
in Orthopaedics from the National Board Of Examinations, New
Delhi. He then did a fellowship in Total Knee Replacement at
Ahmedabad and a fellowship in Arthroscopy in Barcelona, Spain.
Dr. Adkar has
performed hundreds of arthroscopies including ACL
reconstruction, PCL reconstruction and meniscus repair. He is
also involved in teaching right from undergraduate level to
actively organizing Continuous Medical Education Programmes.
Dr. Adkar is
interested in knee surgery particularly sports injuries (from
amateur to professional), arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery,
ligament reconstruction, arthritis surgery (total and
unicompartment knee replacement) and tibial osteotomy.
He is heavily involved in the training of orthopaedic surgeons,
undergraduate students and has run courses on arthroscopic
knee surgery and knee ligament reconstruction.
Dr. Adkar`s interests is in knee surgery particularly sports
injuries (from amateur to professional), arthroscopic (keyhole)
surgery, ligament reconstruction, arthritis surgery (total
and unicompartment knee replacement), tibial osteotomy and
